About psychosocial recovery coaching

My Qualifications

🔹 What a Psychosocial Recovery Coach does:

A recovery coach works alongside you (and often your family or carers) to build skills, resilience, and independence over time.

- Helping you understand your NDIS plan and how it supports your recovery

- Supporting you to set recovery-focused goals (not just service use)

- Coaching you to manage daily life, routines, and challenges

- Connecting and coordinating supports (similar to support coordination)

- Collaborating with mental health services and clinical teams

- Building your ability to make decisions and direct your own supports

- Supporting mental health, providing clinical social work, trauma-informed responses, and well-being strategies.

Please note that I can only offer Support Coordination OR Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, not both (due to COI). These are distinct services; Psychosocial Recovery Coaching adopts a more biopsychosocial, goal-driven approach, providing essential clinical social work support.
