With over 18 years of experience in teaching and social work supporting children, families, and individuals with complex needs, I bring a deeply informed, compassionate, and practical approach to Support Coordination and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, including capacity building services and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.
My background spans special education for 12 years, school-based social work, including NDIS navigation and experience with NDIS reviews and assessments, and frontline mental health support. Beginning as a Special Needs Teacher, I developed a strong foundation in working with children with disabilities—building inclusive strategies that empower young people to thrive. This evolved into social work within school settings, supporting student well-being while working closely with parents and carers to navigate challenges and strengthen support systems.
I have also worked as an NDIS Navigator within a school setting, helping families understand, access, and effectively use their plans—bridging the gap between education, disability supports, and real-world outcomes.
Most recently, my work expanded into frontline mental health support in DVA social work involving supporting individuals with highly complex needs, including trauma-informed practice, crisis response, and suicide prevention. This experience has strengthened the passion I bring for a coordinated multidisciplinary support, and provides trauma-informed, person-centred care when it matters most.
